1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Memorize ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Memorize is an AI-powered study application that allows users to upload study materials and generate flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, summaries, and other learning tools.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the materials you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process your materials solely for the purpose of providing the Service (generating flashcards, quizzes, etc.).

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Contains malware or harmful code.
  • Is illegal, abusive, or violates any applicable laws.

5. AI-Generated Content

Study materials generated by our AI (flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, summaries) are provided for educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should verify important information independently.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Memorize offers both free and premium subscription plans.
  • Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and can be canceled at any time.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play).

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without permission.

8. Intellectual Property

The Memorize name, logo, and all related branding are our intellectual property. The Service's design, code, and features are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memorize shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
